HISTORY
The concept of The Crying Canvas was born in 2015 in Dubai. I've always failed at categorising my artwork into a single style and I embrace that with The Crying Canvas, where every project is different - and whilst some are similar, they're all by the hands of the same artist.
What began with commission pieces for friends and family, quickly expanded into a wide range of collaborations with different corporations who require unique handmade artwork in specific styles that best reflect their branding or campaign. Since then, I've worked with various brands to bring their visions to life whilst incorporating my signature techniques.
MISSION
My mission with The Crying Canvas is to maximise the creative freedom that art offers by exploring a variety of mediums and styles in my work. Every painting's lack of homogeneity made me fall in love with the depth of the creative world. I view the world through many different lenses and my art reflects that. As a Dubai-based artist, my aim is to spread that perspective across platforms and to inspire collaborations to bring various visions to life.
